Treatments to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Fine lines and wrinkles are a common concern for many and often start to become apparent from age 25 onwards.

There are lifestyle changes you can make to keep your skin looking as youthful as possible for as long as possible, including not smoking, maintaining a healthy diet and keeping hydrated.

In addition to your lifestyle, there is a range of non-invasive treatment options to rejuvenate your skin and help you gain elasticity, reduce pores and fine lines and achieve a brilliant smooth texture.

Treatments to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Genesis Laser

Our breakthrough laser treatment is Genesis – from the Cutera brand, experts in medical aesthetic technology.

This gentle laser stimulates (with a warm heat) the skin’s natural collagen, reversing the signs of aging and sun damage and promoting a healthy, youthful-looking complexion.

One of the big benefits of this treatment is that it has no downtime.  You may be a little flushed after your treatment but this fades within a few hours, making it easier to fit this into a busy schedule.

LED light

Light emitting diode (LED) therapy is a treatment where a specific coloured light frequency is shone on the skin to treat your skin concern. It’s a relaxing and safe procedure and doesn’t use UV rays, allowing you to have the treatment regularly.

At Bloom, we offer four different lights to stimulate collagen production – which rejuvenates skin, soften fine lines, smooths rough textured and/or blotchy skin.

Peels

A peel uses skin products to break down the top layer of dead skin cells and stimulates the growth of new skin cells. This, in turn, improves skin smoothness and vitality and can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

At Bloom, we use asap skin products, cosmeceuticals created by a dermatologist, with our peels to treat various skin concerns, allowing us to tailor the treatment to you.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion uses a minimally abrasive tool to gently slough away the top layer of skin to treat a wide range of skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, age spots, melasma and dull-looking skin.

Our microdermabrasion machine is from Asap Skin Products NZ, a leading Australian brand, and uses diamond tips to gently and safely exfoliate and polish the outermost layers of dry, dead skin cells to reveal healthier-looking skin.

Microdermabrasion perfectly prepares the skin’s surface for the enhanced infusion of active ingredients applied during a sonophoresis treatment

We offer free 15-minute consultations with our nurse to assess your skin concerns and advise which of these treatments is right for you.
